Watch out, Harry: There’s a new Seeker on the team! | Source: Mattel

Last fall, the American Girl dolls officially started their first semester at Hogwarts as Mattel launched a Wizarding World of Harry Potter accessories line for the classic dolls, including school uniforms and House sweaters and scarves. Now as we head into the second semester of the school year, the American Girl dolls are learning to play Quidditch.

For those of you who don’t know what Quidditch is, it’s a wizarding sport that takes place in the Harry Potter books and films, played while flying on broomsticks. The new Harry Potter x American Girl Quidditch gear includes team uniforms made for 18-inch dolls and accessories for dolls to play the sport.

The uniform sets are $75 each and come with a colored robe with a satin lining, a knit sweater with a Hogwarts House crest on it, a pair of corduroy Quidditch pants, brown shoes with cord laces, colored knit socks, and protective gear — including arm guards, fingerless jersey gloves, knee pads, and shin guards (safety first!).

The accessory set is also $75 and comes with a Harry Potter trunk that can hold the two Bludgers, a Quaffle, and the Golden Snitch; a Firebolt broomstick that can stand up using its kickstand; a Beater’s bat to hit the Bludgers away; three ring goals that players can throw the Quaffle through to score points; and four pennants representing each Hogwarts House.

Parents can purchase individual uniforms, or get the entire collection with the accessory set and all four uniforms together for $365. Dolls are not included. Click here to check out the entire Harry Potter American Girl collection.
