We’ve seen some amazing virtual singalongs this week during our stay-at-home quarantines, and now the book worms can join in on the fun, too. Families can celebrate World Book Day this Thursday with a virtual read-along hosted by American Girl author Valerie Tripp.
Parents and kids can tune in on the American Girl Facebook and IGTV on April 23 at 12 p.m. EDT to watch the author read aloud chapter one of the book Kit: Read All About It from the American Girl book series. The reading will later be available on-demand on americangirl.com/stayandplay with a free book download following the live event.
Tripp has written more than 70 American Girl stories and is now translating those titles to the digital world to bring families together at home.
