Mattel launched the Barbie Cutie Reveal line earlier this year with Barbie dolls dressed in fuzzy animal costumes with accessories and a matching mini pet for kids to unbox. The first wave included a bunny, a puppy, a kitty, and a panda. The collection is growing with the Barbie Cutie Reveal Fantasy Series that includes even more fuzzy animal costumes to add to Barbie’s wardrobe.
There are four new styles of dolls that come in llama, sloth, teddy bear, and unicorn themes. Kids can lift the costume head to reveal a poseable Barbie doll with long, colorful hair and twinkle-shine face details. Each package contains four surprise bags full of clothes and accessories, including a skirt, a pair of shoes, a sponge-comb, a headband, and a mini pet.
The costume top reverses into a jacket for Barbie and the costume head turns into a bed for the mini pet. There are also color-changing surprises: Kids can use ice cold water to transform Barbie’s face with animal face paint and to “open and close” the mini pet’s eyes, changing it back with warm water to repeat the process again.
Recommended for kids ages 3 and up, Barbie Cutie Reveals are available at major retailers for $24.97 each.
