Wiggles3DBellzIf you have fifteen minutes up your sleeve and your children close by, Bellz!, a simple yet challenging game from Wiggles 3D, is just what you need. Created for kids ages 6 and up, this magnetic family game involves picking up bells of one color using a magnet wand.

Bellz! comes wrapped up in a neoprene pouch that works as a compact travel kit as well as a game arena. Just unzip the pouch and greet 40 shiny bells in three different sizes in purple, orange, blue, and green.

Magnet and bellsEach player chooses one color to pick up, and gets ready to use the double-sided magnetic wand. The larger end of the wand is more powerful than the smaller one, so choose a side and use it to make a string of bells of the chosen color and pick as many as you can. The first player to collect all 10 ten bells is the winner.

The game, however, is not as easy as it sounds. As you wave your magnetic wand around, the bells can easily fall into a single file or a random cluster, or they can detach because of the weight of all the pieces clumped together, OR they could manage to stick on because of the technique you used. Whatever you do, be sure to pick up bells of your own color. Picking up bells of another color means your turn is over and the bells go back into the game arena.

Trust me, picking 10 bells could take some serious practice, and definitely more than one turn.

The good news is that this game demands absolutely no planning, time, or space. Bellz! can be squeezed into the busiest day, it can be neatly tucked away with your luggage while traveling, or it can even warm up the dining room table while your kids wait for dinner to be served.
