The Beyblade brand — from ADK Emotions — features tops that kids can collect and send into battle, Plus, kids can really ramp up their battles with playset arenas, such as this new Beyblade Burst Rise Hypersphere Vertical Drop Battle Set.
It comes with everything kids need for a Beyblade battle, in case they’re new to the brand and don’t have any Beyblades of their own. The playset includes the arena, two Beyblade Burst tops, and two ripcord launchers. To battle, kids just launch their Beyblades into the arena and watch them go!
The set itself needs to be assembled when you open it up out of the box — and younger kids are going to definitely need an adult’s help. Although there are no tools required — everything either snaps or twists in — it can be a little tough to snap things into place. The set is made of thinner plastic, so pressing hard to click pieces into place feels counterintuitive, but it’s durable enough to withstand the pressure, so fear not! It also comes with stickers that you can place on the outside of the arena to give it some “ambiance.”
The assembly of the arena is a relatively quick process — it took me about 10-15 minutes total — and the Beyblade tops and ripcord launchers are easily assembled as well. Once you’re all set up, you’re ready to let it rip.
The arena playsets are great additions to any Beyblade fans’ collection, and the Vertical Drop Battle Set is no exception. This stadium features 3 sections that are specifically designed to create exciting Beyblade Burst battles: the vertical wall, the brink, and the battle ring. Kids can send their Beyblade Bursts into the arena and watch as they battle, learning how to use these three features to their advantage.
Plus, the added bonus of the Beyblade Burst line is that the tops — you guessed it — burst when you are defeated, which adds a little extra excitement to amp up the battle.
For more fun, kids can scan a code on the tops’ components and the stadium to use them in the Beyblade Burst app.
