This International Women’s Day, Build-A-Bear Workshop is announcing a new collection with Rebel Girls, an empowerment brand dedicated to helping parents raise an inspired and confident generation of girls through content, experiences, products, and community.
The exclusive collection will feature a Rebel Girls-branded teddy bear and gift sets inspired by famous female trailblazers with bear T-shirts and accessories. Every week Build-A-Bear will reveal one of the inspiring women featured in the collection along with a fun activity that celebrates their accomplishments. The reveals will begin on Wednesday, March 16, and the full collection will be available at buildabear.com on April 13.Â
Build-A-Bear Workshop was founded by businesswoman Maxine Clark in 1997, more than 80% of the store managers today are female, and women make up at least 50% of the Board of Directors. This year marks Build-A-Bear’s 25th anniversary and the brand has plans for more special events throughout the year.
