The countdown to Christmas is on and beginning today, families that are in a need of a furry friend can have them delivered right to their doors.

Build-A-Bear Workshop partnered with the same-day delivery provider Shipt to make its popular plushies available without ever having to step foot in a mall.

Thanks to the new alliance, kids (or parents) can build a unique furry friend using the Bear Builder configurator on the Build-A-Bear website. The digital Bear Builder gives families the same customization options that they would normally find in stores, such as sound chips, scents, clothing, and accessories. Even ornaments and gift cards are available and products can be delivered in as soon as one hour.

Build-A-Bear associates will craft and package each furry friend before handing it off to a Shipt Shopper on behalf of Shipt Driven — a delivery-only, last-mile service — for direct gifting or home delivery.

This week, Build-A-Bear and Shipt celebrated the kick-off of their new partnership by spreading holiday cheer to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Together, Build-A-Bear and Shipt donated and delivered 10,000 teddy bears to kids in need.
