Cartoon Network is getting into the holiday spirit with new episodes and music from your favorite animated friends starting now all the way into the new year!
Kick off the fun with the Cartoon Network’s album of holiday remixes, featuring 13 festive versions of some TV theme songs that kids know and love. The album, titled Cartoon Network Theme Songs (Holiday Remix), includes musical remixes from both new and classic animated faves such as Craig of the Creek, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Dexter’s Laboratory, and The Powerpuff Girls.
The excitement doesn’t stop there! Cartoon Network will also broadcast its very own light show! All the way from Tracy, California, lighting programmer Tom BetGeorge will sync the lights on his house to the remixed Cartoon Network theme songs for a one-of-a-kind holiday Cartoon Network music video.
In addition to new music from different TV series on the network, fans can also check out holiday-themed episodes of Craig of the Creek premiering on Dec. 6, and Teen Titans Go! premiering on Dec. 8. In the Craig of the Creek episode “Locked Out Cold,” Craig and the gang search for creative ways to find the spare key to get them back into a holiday party before the festivities end. Even the Teen Titans are finding time in their busy hero schedules to celebrate this holiday season with a new episode featuring Santa Claus. Other new holiday episodes include Total Dramarama’s “Tree Stooges Save Christmas.” Cartoon Network will also air holiday episodes of classic cartoons including Adventure Time, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Ed, Edd, n Eddy, Steven Universe, Chowder, Dexter’s Laboratory, The Amazing World of Gumball, Regular Show, Ben 10, Uncle Grandpa, and Codename: Kids Next Door.
The full 8-minute music video and the holiday theme song album will be available on all music streaming platforms. The music video featuring BetGeorge’s lighting display will display on all Cartoon Network channels on Dec. 3. Check Cartoon Network’s programming to see what day and times more holiday episodes will premiere this month, in addition to animated flicks including Detective Pikachu, Smallfoot, The Wizard of Oz, and Sherlock Gnomes that will play on Christmas Day.
