Asmodee knows that sometimes those you want to play board games with are further away than 6 feet. Its new Connect and Play initiative helps families play together remotely.
Connect and Play currently features five popular Asmodee games, with more on the way soon. The leader of the virtual party can click on the name of the game they’d like to play and find a PDF file on how to play it remotely, along with other resources like Zoom backgrounds to truly get into character, a print and play version, and an introduction to the original game.
Currently, players can learn how to remotely play Dixit (8+), Just One (8+), Dobble/ Spot it! (6+), Sherlock Holmes (14+), and Times Up (12+). Some of the games are based on observations, while others get deep into a mystery. This means there is something for everyone who normally gathers around the Thanksgiving table!
Families can also connect through another free Asmodee initiative launched last spring called Print and Play. The collection includes fan favorites like Catan (and, of course, Pandemic: Hot Zone – North America) and brand-new games like Ticket to Ride Stay at Home.
