Kids can play with Crazy Ice Bubbles in the wintry weather — and watch them freeze in colder temperatures! | Source: Wishbone Consumer Products

I know what you’re thinking: Bubbles in February? She’s lost her mind!

Thanks to Canda-based Wishbone Consumer Products, kids can have the bubble fun they love in warmer temperatures in the winter — with a crazy, icy twist. Crazy Ice Bubbles are the perfect winter novelty. The bubble solution is specially formulated for cold weather, allowing them to start to freeze in colder temperatures.

The packaging says 11 degrees Farenheit, but it was a balmy 25 here in Philadelphia when I tested them, and they started the freezing process perfectly fine. Once they freeze, they look like a snow globe — and each freezes a little differently every time.

Kids will absolutely love that these bubbles last longer than regular bubbles. As far as bubbles go, these are also tops. Aside from the freezing, each blow of the bubble wand delivers a large number of bubbles that float far through the air each time. Those that settle on the ground, they’ll begin to freeze, ensuring that they won’t instantly pop.

Parents should take note that the special bubble solution is a bit thicker than some more traditional bubble solutions, but it’s still just as easy to clean up after — puffy winter coats and gloves will wipe clean with water. It is nontoxic, of course, and designed for outside use, so we recommend keeping your Crazy Ice Bubbles playtime for those snowy, colder days.
