Bring a whole new Cat in the Hat experience to your family as Dr. Seuss Enterprises partners with Tonies, the screen-free, audio entertainment system for kids. Tonies will bring a line-up of audio stories and experiences featuring Dr. Seuss characters and stories to its platform starting next year.
Tonies features a soft, 5-by-5-inch speaker cube called the Toniebox. When kids place various compatible figures (Tonies and Creative Tonies) on top of the magnetic base, the Toniebox will activate songs and stories attached to that figure. Designed for kids ages 3 and up, the Toniebox is made of durable fabric without screens, sharp edges, or complicated buttons. The Cat in the Hat will be the first Dr. Seuss Tonie to launch early next year, just in time for the beloved character’s 65th anniversary. The Cat in the Hat Tonie will feature audio productions of The Cat in the Hat, The Cat in the Hat Comes Back, and There’s a Wocket in My Pocket, as well as additional titles that will be announced later this year.
