PrinceLionheart.EverywherePlaymatWhen choosing playthings for our little ones we specifically look at how well it’s made, the item’s play value, and —of course— how fun it is. We want to put the best product in kids’ hands and I’m sure you’re just as picky when it comes to your child! That’s why I love companies that make it easy for us by creating products that are not only built to last, but are also made with love.

Prince Lionheart‘s Everywhere PlayMat is one of those products that will stay with kids from their diaper days to when they’re ready for kindergarden. Its biggest wow factor is definitely its versatility. Not only is the mat double-sided so kids can play on the Zoo side or the City side, but it easily folds to different sizes depending on how much space kids have to play. Measuring just about 7 feet by 5 feet, this playmat is one of the biggest and softest I’ve seen and felt. Even when played on a hard or tile surface, the mat cushions kids’ knees, elbows, and bellies so they can stretch, lay out, and get comfortable as they play on the vibrantly colored mat.

Each side of the mat offers kids endless opportunities for open-ended play. Kids can find, identify, and count all of the animals at the Zoo or master the roads of the city using toy cars, dolls, or action figures. Multiple kids can play together on the mat and it can be folded back up and taken to a play date, the park, or to Grandma’s house. Beyond imaginary play, kids (and parents) can even use the mat for executing somersaults, perfecting their downward dogs, or maybe just taking a nice nap in front of the TV.
