Calling all aspiring toy photographers and creative kids! Schleich USA and FAO Schwarz have teamed up to launch the Share Your Stories photo contest for a chance to have your kid’s picture featured in the FAO Schwarz flagship store in New York City.
From July 5-31, kids can enter the photo contest by setting up scenes from their imagination using their Schleich toys, snapping a picture, and uploading it to the contest entry site. FAO Schwarz is also hosting a live event on Wednesday, July 13, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Anyone interested in attending can RSVP on the contest website to stop by the NYC FAO Schwarz store to create toy photography scenes for the contest using supplied materials and toys.
12 contest finalists will be selected for public voting in August and will each win $100 Schleich prize packages. One grand prize winner will receive a trip for two to New York City in the fall to witness the unveiling of their imagined scene, which will be photographed by renowned toy photographer, Mitchel Wu, and displayed in the Schleich concept shop in the FAO Schwarz store. The winner will also receive a Schleich shopping spree.
Even after the contest has ended, fans are invited to continue “sharing their stories” with Schleich for a chance to be featured on its social media channels and in relation to future contests and promotions.
