Share your love of sports with the babies of the family with a new idea for sports-themed baby swings from First Season.
Mike and Lisa Putnam came up with the idea for First Season while opening gifts on Christmas. Their nephew opened a football helmet lamp and as he pulled it out upside down, Lisa thought it was a baby swing. They quickly partnered with a toy designer named Brett Klisch, owner of Peru Meridan Studios, to draft a sports-themed baby swing with five designs to make it look like a baseball, a basketball, a soccer ball, a tennis ball, and a golf ball.

The swings have a 35-pound weight limit and are recommended for babies ages 7-36 months. They feature a removable fabric seat that has a 3-point, safety harness with a buckle. The sports ball is made from circular, foam panels and interchangeable graphic sleeves that wrap around the panels. Customers will be able to purchase multiple sleeves so that they can switch the theme of the sports ball to start a new season. Both the seat and the sleeves are machine washable.
First Season is currently participating in an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign to raise money to manufacture the swings. Contributors can pay a discounted price of $75 for their swing of choice and with a successful campaign, the swings are estimated to ship at the end of August. Click here for more information.
