Do you hear big roars in the distance? No worries — that’s just Gigantosaurus and the gang coming back for (pre)historic new season!
The third season of Cyber Group Studios‘ Gigantosaurus will premiere on Disney Junior and DisneyNOW on Aug. 9 at 8:55 a.m. local time. The 52 episodes, each 11 minutes long, will introduce new dinosaur characters and colorful Cretaceous-period locations, along with original songs and new musical sequences.

Gigantosaurus follows young dinosaurs Rocky, Bill, Tiny, and Mazu as they grow up in the Cretaceous period. New volcanoes are popping up all the time, long-necked brachiosauruses and enormous triceratopses are roaming free, and meteor showers are lighting up the night sky. Most importantly, Gigantosaurus — the biggest, fiercest dinosaur — reigns over it all!
Preschool fans can expect to delve into adventures with new and old dino friends this season, following themes such as friendship, bravery, and even babysitting. New characters include Spinosaurus, a dinosaur that’s almost as big as Gigantosaurus, and Missy, a hilarious and mysterious Incisivosaurus. The show will also debut eight new songs or musical sequences for extra roaring fun.
The second season of Gigantosaurus will launch on Disney+ on Aug. 25. To keep up with news about the show’s third season, visit cybergroupstudios.com.
