I admit it, I am a huge fan of Halloween! I start planning months in advance for our costumes (yes, I dress up, too) and party food. I’m not sure why or when my love for Halloween started, but it totally kicked into hyper-drive when the kids came along.
One of the things I like to do when I plan our party food is to keep it simple by skipping the cooking and baking and just assembling a fun treat! One of the easiest ways to do this to make Halloween Krispie Treats!
Halloween Krispie Treats Three Ways!
I have made some super cute and easy Halloween Krispie Treats over the past few years. The best part is the kids will love helping to make them.
To start, you will need:
- Krispie treats
- Colored melting chocolates: green, white, orange, blue, etc.
- Edible eyes, sprinkles, gumballs, and other decorative candies
Now it’s time to make your Halloween Krispie Treats!
Franken Treats
Franken Treats are my favorite! You can even make these all year and call them Hulk Treats! Just dip the Krispie Treats in melted green chocolate. Then dip the tops in chocolate sprinkles! Decorate his face with your favorite decorative candies. Don’t forget his neck bolts!
Mummy Treats
Mummy Treats were new for us this year, and they couldn’t be easier. Since you want to mimic the wrapped look, you should drizzle layers of white chocolate on your Krispie Treats. Add some eyes and you have yourself an edible mummy!
Monster Treats
Monster Treats are the kids’ favorite! Why? It’s because they can really do whatever they want with them. Partially dip or fully dip the Krispie Treats in their favorite colors and add as many eyes as they want! There is no right or wrong way to make Monster Treats. You can even make these year round!
These Halloween Krispie Treats are a fun and easy treat to make up for Halloween parties or class treats!
