We know it’s peak summer right now, but watch out for flying jack-o-lanterns because Scooby-Doo and Shaggy’s favorite holiday is coming in hot. The Mystery Inc. gang is back in action for Happy Halloween, Scooby-Doo!, a new animated film from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment.

Bill Nye the Science Guy and Elvira, Mistress of the Dark are joining the ghoulish gang for a Halloween adventure, coming this October. In the movie, Crystal Cove gets terrorized by a swarm of feisty flying pumpkins and their nefarious pumpkin leader who is squashing everything in its path. It’s up to Scooby-Doo and the squad to solve this batty mystery and save the day.

Happy Halloween Scooby-Doo! features the voice talents of Frank Welker as Scooby-Doo/Fred Jones, Grey Griffin as Daphne Blake, Matthew Lillard as Shaggy Rogers, Kate Micucci as Velma Dinkley, Cassandra Peterson as Elvira, and Bill Nye as himself.

Make sure you have plenty of candy corn ready for Oct. 6 when the film will be available on DVD and Digital.
