Kids and families cannot get enough of the beloved axolotl, and there’s a new storybook to learn all about the crazy creature!

Hello! I’m an Axolotl was released earlier this week, so now the whole family can learn about the axolotl from the perspective of one of these fascinating creatures. The little axolotl shares details about its species name, history, and daily life.

The book features beautiful illustrations, interesting facts, and in-depth explanations about this amazing amphibian — kids and grown-ups alike will enjoy this addition to storytime. Families can pair the book with toys like WowWee’s Fingerlings Interactive Baby Axolotl, Goliath’s AniMagic Axolotl, and more.

After the family becomes experts on axolotls, they can dive into other books in the Meet The Wild Things series, which includes titles like Hello, I’m a Sloth; Hello, I’m a Pangolin; and Hello, I’m a Quokka. All of the books in the series focus on endangered species.

The series is out just in time for Earth Day (April 22), which is a great time to teach kids about nature and all of the unique animals Earth has to offer.

Hello! I’m an Axolotl and the rest of the series are published by Penguin Random House. They are available in select bookstores and at the links below.
