It’s time to stand up for what you believe in, and we believe in Karma’s World!
Chris “Ludacris” Bridges created the Netflix series Karma’s World to generate more positive portrayals of Black girls in pop culture. The series is inspired by his oldest daughter and is geared toward kids ages 6-9, showcasing themes of self-expression, identity, leadership, creativity, and the importance of community.
Karma’s World is officially coming back for Season 3, following lyrically gifted middle schooler Karma as she juggles rap ambitions while using her talent and heart to solve problems. Mattel is also launching a Karma’s World toy line this July so that kids can play with their favorite characters from the show.
Here’s a first look at some of the new dolls, including the Karma’s World Core Fashion Doll Assortment. Kids can play out the friendships from the show with Karma, Winston, and Switch dolls, priced at $21.99 each, or drop a beat with the Karma’s World Singing Star Karma Doll for $24.99. Karma comes with tons of accessories and kids can lift her arm to hear her rap a song from the show.
The new season will feature even more music and dancing, plus storylines that will teach kids about dyslexia and embracing what makes our friends special. Karma’s friend Winston will deal with conflict at school and toxic masculinity, while Karma and friends help to protest for disability rights. Karma’s World is produced by 9 Story Media Group; Brown Bag Films; and Bridges’ production company, Karma’s World Entertainment.
Season 3 will premiere on Netflix on July 7, and Mattel’s new toy line will launch on July 17. Check out the trailer below!
