Kinder Joy, the company behind the treat/toy hybrid, is launching limited-edition National Park Foundation eggs that feature 16 new toys of North American animals.

The collectible toys include a bald eagle, an alligator, a polar bear, an orca whale, a raccoon, and other animals to inspire kids’ curiosity about wildlife. The toys are compatible with Applaydu, the free app that adds another dimension to Kinder Joy toys through augmented reality.

Kinder Joy is also launching an “Explore the Wild” Sweepstakes to give 500 winners an “America the Beautiful — National Parks & Federal Recreational Lands Annual Pass.” There are more than 400 national parks in the U.S., and Kinder Joy and the National Park Foundation want to help families explore the great outdoors.

Families can share their 2022 resolutions by commenting on the promotional post on the @kinderus Instagram or on @kinderus Twitter using the hashtag #ExploretheWildSweeps through Jan. 30. A total of 500 winners will be selected on a weekly basis throughout the month. The America the Beautiful Pass provides access to thousands of federal recreation sites, including national parks, for a year. Visit for more information.
