LeapFrog is taking the leap into baby monitors.
VTech Communications, a leading manufacturer of baby monitors, announced its first-ever line of LeapFrog baby monitors. This introductory collection features seven models, including both smart video baby monitors and video baby monitors. The brand has plans to release additional models later this year.
Each monitor in the premium LeapFrog collection features color night vision technology that lets parents see their babies clearly, even in dim light. The monitors also feature smart sensors, including motion, sound, temperature, and humidity sensors, as well as an adaptive color night light that adjusts to the room’s brightness.
Additionally, the LeapFrog Smart Video baby monitors include a 5- or 7-inch 720p high-definition parent unit with the option to see and hear remotely on a smartphone or tablet through the LeapFrog Baby Care app. The free app also offers sleep tips and advice from the experts at WeeSleep, and allows parents to keep track of their baby’s sleep patterns.
Lastly, two of the models include two camera units that parents can place in different rooms. Parents can choose to view the cameras one at a time, two on a split screen, or set it on a patrol mode to alternate cameras every 10 seconds.
The LeapFrog baby monitor collection is currently available for $79.99-199.95 at Buy Buy Baby, Walmart, and Best Buy. Three models are available exclusively at Amazon.
