Da da da da da da da da BATMAN!

With the motorized LEGO DC Super Heroes App-Controlled Batmobile, builders ages 8 and up can stop crime dead in its tracks with a vehicle they can build and control with their smartphone. The entire 321-piece construction set includes all the materials kids need to build a controllable car, including a Bluetooth hub, two motors, and an exclusive figure (smart device not included!).Just like any great LEGO build, following the instructions is key. The entire 117-step process is detailed in the instruction booklet, complete with full-color diagrams. The images are large enough so kids can easily identify each step and piece, but aspiring architects on the younger end of the scale might need a parent’s help from time to time. Check out the digital version of the instruction manual here.

Once kids have finished combing through the 106-page manual, they can download the free LEGO Powered Up app (available on the App Store and Google Play) to gain full control of their creation. The finished product sports two motors powered by a Bluetooth-controlled battery hub, a minifigure cockpit that kids can open and close, 4-wheel drive, and two dual stud shooters to take down the bad guys. Look out wrong-doers of Gotham City, this Batmobile means business.Through the app, kids can use their smart device just like they would a controller. They can move forward and backwards, perform twists and turns, and even pop wheelies all on the way to save the day. Not only does the LEGO DC Super Heroes App-Controlled Batmobile strengthen kids’ fine motor skills, it also extends play time through an interactive, handheld R/C experience.
