Did you love LEGO The Ninjago Movie? I know we did! Well get pumped, because now you can bring home and build your own smaller scale replica of theĀ Green Ninja Mech Dragon!

The 544-piece model, almost 2 feet long when assembled, allows kids to recreate and role play scenes from the movie. Fortunately, LEGO rendered the detail on this model exquisitelyā€”even down to the Green Ninja Mech’s buildable golden whiskersā€”to give kids a play experience straight from the world of Ninjago. This dragon also is equipped with a minifigure cockpit, articulated snapping jaws, a completely posable body, a wheel-activated swooshing tail with spikes, two leg-mounted stud shooters, and two pop-out thrusters in front legs.

Besides the actual Green Ninja Mech Dragon, the set also includes four minifigures: The Green Ninja, Wu, Garmadon, and Charlie. Weapons are also included: The Green Ninja’s tasseled sword, Wu’s staff, Garmadon’s laser-style pointer and two katanas, and Charlie’s fish spear.

Do beware, however. When assembled this is a fragile model that can break apart easily. Green Ninja Mech isnā€™t really meant for flying like his big screen counterpart. But he can still actively be played with!

On his tail, the wheel-activated gear enables Green Ninja Mech to whip his rapidly both left or rightā€”POW POW. Thereā€™s a lot of power in his tail whip. His feet and legs can also move, and his neck can bob up and down. This ainā€™t no stiff dragon, folks.

But whatā€™s really cool is that there are a lot of built-in features to Green Ninja Mech! Not visible at first glance, there are two hidden thrusters in his front legs, as well as two leg-mounted stud shooters.Ā All in all, itā€™s a pretty intense build that only seasoned LEGO builders should embark on. This build is so intense that twoĀ instruction manuals are required.
