LEGO Masters — the epic building show hosted by Will Arnett — recently partnered with the organization Merging Vets and Players to bring LEGO toys to veterans suffering from PTSD.
Merging Vets and Players, also known as MVP, is a nonprofit founded in 2015 by FOX Sports NFL insider Jay Glazer and former Green Beret and Seattle Seahawk Nate Boyer, aimed to unite veterans with a supportive community of professional athletes. During a time when in-person meetings and events cannot take place due to the pandemic, MVP found another way to help veterans from home: with LEGOs! MVP and LEGO Masters are working together to provide LEGO sets to veterans all over the country.Â
Glazer and Arnett discuss the importance of supporting veterans during these difficult times in different ways, such as providing a calming and coping mechanism for the anxiety they may be suffering after serving. Watch the video clip below to get to know some of the amazing veterans who benefitted from building LEGO sets, thanks to MVP.
Families can celebrate Veteran’s Day this year by supporting MVP, building LEGO sets together, and tuning in to LEGO Masters on FOX ahead of its second season.
