Tonies is holding a livestreaming event with LeVar Burton, an American actor, director, and television host, as he reads The Rhino Who Swallowed A Storm, a children’s book that he co-authored in 2014. The March 15 reading will take place among a live student audience in Fullerton, California. Parents and kids who are interested can access the livestream link through the event’s Facebook page.
Burton’s reading of The Rhino Who Swallowed A Storm is also available through the Levar Burton Tonie figurine. Toniebox, made by Tonies, is a kid-friendly audio system that kids can use to listen to music and stories. Kids can attach the colorful, magnetic Tonies figurines to the top of the speaker to play the audio stories and songs associated with it.
The Levar Burton Tonie features 12 tracks, amounting to a total of 34 minutes. Parents and kids can also record their own stories on this Tonie, available for $14.99 on Tonies’ website (Toniebox sold separately).
