The Minions are back, better, and blockier than ever in Gameloft’s new Minion Rush crossover event!
From now until Aug. 24, players can race Bob, Stuart, and Kevin through LEGO brick-themed levels in the mobile game while unlocking in-game LEGO collectibles, gifts, and prizes. Kids ages 9 and up can take part in a special mission to help the Minions recreate Gru’s First Lair — which is featured in the upcoming Minions: The Rise of Gru movie — with LEGO bricks, inspired by the real-life LEGO playset Minions in Gru’s Lab.

In Minion Rush, players try to jump, slide, and dodge obstacles as fast as possible through different maps inspired by the Despicable Me franchise, and now, by the LEGO universe. Players will collect LEGO bricks as prizes while racing through this update. Along the way, kids can dress the Minions up in funky costumes that have their own special skills and power-ups to help them complete their despicable missions. In this update, the new costumes include Engineer Bob and Shortstop Stuart.
Minion Rush is available to download for free on Google Play and the App Store. Minions: The Rise of Gru is slated for a July release next year.
