National Friendship Day is this Sunday (Aug. 1) and what better way to celebrate than with sparkly, colorful friendship bracelets?

Moose Toys is encouraging kids to reconnect with their besties in real life by making and exchanging Blingle Bands. This new craft kit series, which will officially launch on Sunday, comes with everything kids ages 7 and up need to create gem-decorated friendship bracelets — Basically, it’s diamond painting meets friendship bracelets. Kids can use the included templates or create their own designs by sticking the colorful gems to the bracelet band using a “dip, dot, bling” process.

To celebrate the launch of this new bling-based craft, Moose Toys is hosting a special event at Westfield Century City in Los Angeles on Sunday, in partnership with The Boys & Girls Club of Venice. At the event, kids can create their own Blingle Bands to wear and share, take photos, and explore an interactive chalk exhibition. Actress Sky Katz will also be at the event and will share a series of Blingle Bands tips on social media.

Blingle Bands will be available online and in stores at major retailers nationwide. At launch, kids can choose from three kits: The Bestie Pack ($4.99) has materials for a set of matching bracelets, the Starter Pod ($9.99) is designed for on-the-go bracelet making with a portable case, and the Deluxe Studio ($19.99) has enough materials to make eight bracelets.

Let the creative, sparkly, friendship fun begin!
