Did you know that the inventor of Twister and NERF loves to write songs for kids, too?
Reyn Guyer does it all! From educating kids to inventing toys, he’s been consistently dedicated to making kids smile for decades. Now, he’s taking to YouTube for his most recent songwriting and storytelling venture, My Friend Wren.
My Friend Wren is a collection of creative and catchy singalong stories narrated by Guyer himself. Each song builds upon the world of My Friend Wren characters, which is currently a cast of 12, including Saturday Shark, Fred, Emu Bird, Lew, Julie, and other zany characters. Every story has a fun, educational lesson taught through these characters, including learning the alphabet and months of the year. For instance, the video “Jamazon” teaches kids about the importance of a good bedtime routine through a silly song. Watch it below.
Guyer works with a team of artists to bring his music videos to life and make every song a memorable experience for kids. He takes inspiration from Dr. Seuss while creating rhyme-riddled adventures and tunes like “Just Fred” and “A Bug Named Lew.” Toddlers and preschoolers will love clapping and singing along with Guyer in every video.
