Netflix Will Deliver ‘The Letter for the King’

Netflix announced today that it will release a new series called The Letter for the King.

Based on the bestselling book of the same name, the story follows a young knight named Tiuri. When a ruthless prince threatens to bring trouble to their kingdom, Tiuri is tasked with delivering a letter to the king. The journey is not easy, and he becomes the center of a magical prophecy that foretells the rise of a hero.

The six-episode original series doesn’t have a premiere date yet, but it was written by Will Davies — the man responsible for How to Train Your Dragon and Puss in Boots — so we’re patiently waiting!
