If your young gamer hasn’t already told you, we’re getting close to the release of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom on Nintendo Switch. And there’s no cooler device for kids to play the long-awaited game on than the Nintendo Switch OLED Model The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Edition.
The new model takes a classic Nintendo Switch OLED Model and gives it a Hylian twist. The dock of the switch, which houses the 7-inch OLED screen, features a gold Hylian crest and other game-inspired patterns. The detachable Joy-Con controllers have gold bases with white-and-green detailing for a fun gaming experience for young Legend of Zelda fans.
The system has three play settings: TV mode, for when the system is docked; handheld mode, where the Joy-Con controllers are attached to the system; and tabletop mode, which is great for playing with friends. The Nintendo Switch OLED Model The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Edition comes out on April 28 but it is available to preorder now.
The system is perfect for playing the new game, which comes out on May 12. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is the sequel to Breath of the Wild, where players follow Link on his adventures through the skies of Hyrule.
