There is only a week left until March 10, also known as MAR10 Day, and Nintendo is planning a full month of Mario-themed activities for kids to enjoy.
Nintendo kicked off the month with a party at Nintendo New York with Ryan from Ryan’s World and tons of new reveals, including new promotions and activities.
The first reveal was the Nintendo Switch Mario Choose One Bundle, a pack that features Red Joy-Con controllers, stickers from the Super Mario Bros. Movie, and a Mario game download. Kids can pick one of three games — Super Mario Odyssey, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, or New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe. The Choose One Bundle drops on March 10 for $299.99 at the My Nintendo Store and select retailers. Nintendo will also offer discounts on select Super Mario Bros. games throughout the month.
The Booster Course Pass Wave 4 for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe comes out on March 9 and features courses from classic Mario Kart games over the years from Wii, Gameboy, and more. The courses include Tour Amsterdam Drift, GBA Riverside Park, Wii DK Summit, Yoshi’s Island, Tour Bangkok Rush, DS Mario Circuit, GCN Waluigi Stadium, and Tour Singapore Speedway.
Even if kids already have all of the Mario video games and merch they could dream of, MAR10 month still has fun in store. On March 11, kids can go to select GameStop stores starting at noon local time to play their favorite Mario games and get free Mario merch! Fans in California can even check out the new Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Hollywood, which features new rides, dining options, and exclusive merch! Adults can enter the kids in their lives into the Super Nintendo World Family Fun Sweepstakes for a trip for up to four people to check out the new area. The sweepstakes runs from March 10 to April 25.
Although it will be a sad time when MAR10 month is over, the Super Mario Bros. Movie hits theaters on April 5! It’s a great time to be a kid who loves Mario!
