It’s time for kids to use their noggins again!
Noggin, Nickelodeon’s interactive learning platform, announced its newest game, Bubble Guppies: Dive into The Met. Aiming to spark artistic creativity, kids can go on a virtual field trip to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, which is located in New York City. Little explorers can learn about art from different cultures and countries, while building up their creativity and critical thinking skills.
In the game, kids are lead by Mr. Grouper, who takes the Bubble Guppies to The Metropolitan Museum of Art on a field trip to study works of art originating in Japan, Ancient Egypt, France, India, and the Netherlands. Perfect for future historians, kids will learn how to identify and understand details and characteristics of each work of art they study. As they move through the game, young learners will hear information provided in consultation with educators and curators from The Met. They can also flex their artistic abilities by using the stickers and paint tools in the game to create their own images inspired by the artwork from The Met collection.
In addition to its partnership with The Met, Noggin also released new math and literacy content, as well as a preview of upcoming episodes of the platform’s cooking show, School of Yum.
