The iconic board game Monopoly has tons of iterations, and now it’s getting the Peanuts treatment!
Monopoly: Peanuts from The Op features all the favorite characters and occasions from Charles M. Schulz’ classic comic strips. Players can buy and sell moments such as Decorate the Tree, Give Thanks, Play Baseball, and more. The pieces include a kite stuck in a tree, a mailbox, a jack-o’-lantern, a football, a baseball cap, and Snoopy on a sled. The money features character portraits, and the usual Chance and Community Chest cards are replaced with “Augh!” and “Good Grief!” cards, referencing two phrases we hear regularly from Charlie Brown.
The Op has a whole collection of other Monopoly crossovers for families that want some variety, including version of Monopoly featuring Dr. Seuss, Hello Kitty, Naruto Shippuden, SpongeBob SquarePants, and more! The variety of options means little fans of any franchise can have a Monopoly game just for them.
The Monopoly: Peanuts game is available now at a number of retailers for $44.99. Kids will soon be saying “good grief” as they try to collect the most beloved moments from their favorite Peanuts characters.
