Six months into the war in Ukraine, thousands of children have lost their homes and families. Technology company Pebble Gear aims to help those children by launching a special edition of its Disney-licensed Mickey and Friends Always & Forever tablet carry bag.
Minnie and Mickey are at the centerpiece of the pink bag, which is also covered in hearts. It is made with neoprene and is built to keep kids’ tablets safe when they are on the move. The handled bag also has a pocket for carrying cords and other tech accessories.
Pebble Gear is donating half of the profits from this carry bag to Hope and Homes for Children, a charity that is dedicated to keeping families together while finding new alternatives for orphanages. Hope and Homes for Children will use the money from these bags to specifically help children in Ukraine and the surrounding countries Moldova and Romania.
“Pebble Gear was founded on the value of ensuring the safety and security of children everywhere. Witnessing the horrific impact the war in Ukraine has had on children and families, we knew that we had to do something to help,” says Neil Meredith, head of Pebble Gear.
The Mickey & Friends Always & Forever tablet carry bag will be available this fall at all Pebble Gear retailers, both in-store and online, for $29.99.
