The animal kingdom of the Playmobil world is getting more sustainable with Wiltopia, the company’s first eco-friendly product line. The collection of animal figures are designed to teach kids about animals, nature, the environment, and the importance of sustainability.
The first wave of figures are available now, including several different types of pandas, alpacas, tigers, a lion, a moose, a dolphin, an emperor penguin, and more animals from different areas of the world in different sizes. The products are made from an average of 80% sustainable materials, including PCR (preused plastic that is fed back into the recycling loop) and bio-based plastics.
Each animal figure comes with accessories, a collectible card with fun facts about the species, and a QR code that gives kids access to more content in the app. In the Wiltopia app, kids can learn more about the animals and their habitats, and even take a selfie with them by projecting the animals right into their home via AR.Â
The first wave of figures are available on playmobil.com with budget-friendly prices ranging from $4.99-10.99. Whether kids are feeling like the king of the jungle or our friendlier ocean friends, they can roleplay as animals from around the world with Wiltopia.
