Go into the night to save the day—but, like, actually though.

With PJ Masks Night Sight Game, from Wonder Forge, kids play together (just like the PJ Masks team!) to stop the mischievous Romeo from stealing the city’s toys.

This game is best played with two to three players. Each player takes a toy store front and places three shelves with the red-encoded side up in front of them. If only two players are playing, they can share the third storefront. Also, if there are younger players playing, a few of the toy store shelves can be flipped over to the other side to show the colored pictures instead, to make the gameplay easier. Players then place Romeo’s Toy Rack in the middle of the table and mix up the Romeo Tiles face-down into a draw pile.

Then players get ready by putting on their masks and memorizing which toys are on their Toy Store’s shelf. Once you’re ready to go, it’s time to go into the Day Phase.

Players take off their mask and choose three Romeo Tiles from the pile and turn them face up in the center of the table. These are the toys that Romeo is trying to steal. Oh no!

The players (our PJ Masks heroes) must work together to place each Romeo Tile next to the storefront that the toy is found in. Remember when you memorized your toy shelf at the beginning? Here’s where it comes in handy, because you can’t use your masks again during the day. The best part about this game is the collaboration—as we say here in the TI offices, “Teamwork makes the dream work”—so if you don’t remember if your store had something, the other players might remember if it’s not in their own, so you can use process of elimination to correctly place the tile. Once all the tiles are placed, it’s time to go into the night to save the day!

When it’s time for the Night Phase—masks on! As I pulled on my Owlette mask ready to see if we stopped Romeo, the toys in my storefront once again revealed themselves, and we could check to see if we were right. Each Romeo Tile that is next to the correct Toy Store has been protected from Romeo’s evil grasp! Players can place that tile on top of the matching picture on their toy store shelf. Each Romeo Tile that is next to an incorrect Toy Store was stolen by Romeo—yikes!—and gets placed on Romeo’s Toy Rack. After all three tiles are in their rightful spot, players should re-study those toy racks again because back into the Day Phase we go!

The game ends after all the Romeo Tiles have been played. If Romeo’s rack is filled with five toys, he completes his evil mission and wins the game (emoji with the eye roll). If Romeo successfully steals fewer than five toys, the PJ Masks team has foiled his plan and wins. Shout hooray!
