You will rest in pieces! LEGO pieces, that is!
The LEGO Star Wars characters are coming back for another holiday special on Disney+, this time for spooky season! LEGO Star Wars: Terrifying Tales will debut exclusively on Disney’s streaming platform on Oct. 1 as part of Disney’s Hallowstream celebration.
This animated special will take place after the events of The Rise of Skywalker and will follow Poe Dameron and BB-8 as they make an emergency landing on the volcanic planet of Mustafar. There, they meet the greedy Graballa the Hutt, who has purchased Darth Vader’s castle and is turning it into the first all-inclusive Sith-inspired luxury hotel. (What a fun sentence!) As Poe waits for his X-Wing to get fixed, he and his companions are treated to three stories from Vader’s servant, Vaneé. Each story is linked to ancient artifacts and iconic villains from throughout Star Wars history.
Directed by Ken Cunningham and written by David Shayne, Terrifying Tales will feature Jake Green as Poe Dameron, Raphael Alejandro as Dean, Dana Snyder as Graballa the Hutt, Tony Hale as Vaneé, Christian Slater as Ren, Trevor Devall as Emperor Palpatine, Mary Elizabeth McGlynn as NI-L8, and Matt Sloan as Darth Vader.
In addition to the voice cast and release date for this spooky space special, Disney revealed the poster, which is pictured above.
