They’re here! Season nine Shopkins, from Moose Toys, is hitting retail shelves everywhere, and after seeing this new crop of “Wild Style” creatures and the introduction to Pawville, I have a couple of serious words for Moose Toys: TAKE ALL MY MONEY. Literally, here’s my wallet, folks.

So, I’m a little excited. While Seasons one through eight of the Shopkins line of collectible figures and Shoppies dolls obviously rocked my (Shopkin-themed) socks off, Season nine offers some new creatures and styles that are totally contemporary and full of kawaii-style awesomeness. It’s kind of like when you think your dog can’t get any cuter, but then you look at him from a different angle and then BAM, your heart turns to mush — cuteness just took an upswing!

The first major announcement about Season nine is the introduction of the Shoppets (Shopkins x Pets). Instead of being from Shopville, these critters are from a new neighborhood named Pawville. They’re adorable little pets for your Shoppies dolls, being larger than a Shopkin, but smaller than a Shoppie. And of course, Each Shoppet comes with a Shopkin.

I picked up a pack of 12 (10 were shown in the packaging, 2 were blind bag FYI) and was pleasantly surprised with some of the little QTs I got in my collectors pack. There are now Hidden Heart Shopkins, which each contain a tiny heart inside for kids to discover. One of my Hidden Heart Shopkins looked like a teapot, and even featured a removable lid. Inside, she had a tiny heart, similar to the candy message hearts you receive on Valentine’s Day that read “U ROCK.” There were also Translucent Colored Shopkins, and Squishy Shopkins! My favorite ones were the Glitz Shopkins. Included in this pack was a sheet of Wild Style Tattoos and a collector’s guide detailing all of the new tribes in Season nine, which are:

Heart’n’ Seekers Tribe (Hidden Heart), Rainbow Dreamers Tribe (Rainbow), Glitzi Dancers Tribe (Glitz), Color Change Cuties Tribe (Color Change), Flocked’n’Fluffy Tribe (Fluffy), Glamour Gems Tribe (Gem), Frozen Flakes Tribe (Frozen Flake), Dairy Wrappers Tribe (Sticker Wrap), Glazed Fruits Tribe (Translucent), Sweet’n’Squishy Tribe (Squishy), and Shimmery Unicorns Tribe (Shimmery).

Each tribe is as cute as it sounds. There are absolutely SO many to collect. If you’re looking for a variety of season nine Shopkins, stack up on those packs of 12. But if you’re only looking to introduce a few into your Shopkins family, or love the element of surprise, I suggest the Pet Pod, which each contains two Shopkins.

And with new Shopkins and Shoppets, also comes a whole new clique of Shoppies. Luckily, two of them met up with me to shop at Shoppies Mall.

Ms. Bella Bow is my new Spirit animal. Her aqua blue and purple hair is absolute art. These sets come with one Shoppie and one Shoppet, accessories (like Claire Straightener and Chloe Comb), and two wild style bracelets. Bella is bowsessed (bow obsessed). She has lots of cute ribbons dangling from her head to toe.Got milk? There’s also Mia Milk and Maisy Moo, part of the Dairy Wrappers Tribe, which includes Ms. Cheese, Indie Ice Cream, and Jersey Jug. Instead of having a bow on her head, Mia Milk has a milk carton headpiece (so cute).

Mia Milk and the Maisy Moo Shoppet Pack retails for $19.99

Shopkins has really outdone themselves, but what’s new in Shopville?

If your Shopkins or Shoppies are looking to glam up, make a stop at Kennel Cuties Beauty Parlor. This set comes with glitter hair gel and nail art to use on yourself. Two Shopkins are included.

Kennel Cuties Beauty Parlor retails for $19.99.

Any kitty and ballerina lovers? May wanna hit the Kitty Dance School. Two Shopkins included.

And remember, Pawville is here and it’s filled with SHOPPETS! This is Duncan. You can buy him with a Sweet Donut Swing. Trust me, it’s dough much fun to play with him.

Duncan poses with his Sweet Donut Swing and Shopkin Coco Anna.

Bottom line: Season nine delivers SO much to the Shopville World —these are just some highlights. Now, if you could excuse me, I shall shop until I drop.
