Americans can play soccer anywhere regardless of the weather forecast, thanks to Soccer Bot, a soccer trainer from Golden Bear Toys.
Part of its Smart Ball line, Golden Bear Toys’ battery-powered ball allows players ages 3 and up to practice soccer inside and outside, alone or with friends and siblings. With Soccer Bot, players can design their own arena, limiting the scope of their pitch to their imaginations and a 6-foot radius.
Inside, Soccer Bot works on hardwood floors and carpets. It includes several pieces: a Smart Ball, an accompanying robot, and four discs. The robot includes an LCD display for keeping score and recording personal achievements. It also functions as an opponent, allowing for one-player games and skills practice. The robot can trap the ball and player within the game’s boundaries, set with the four included discs. While Soccer Bot’s playing area extends up to 6 feet, it works in small spaces as well, encouraging players to practice their skills and footwork.
