Stan Lee’s Superhero Kindergarten will premiere this Friday on Kartoon Channel. Kids can follow along with the animated series to watch six unique kids learn about their superpowers alongside the ABCs.
The series is one of the last creations from Stan Lee, everyone’s favorite Marvel creator and cameo-expert. It features the voice of Arnold Schwarzenegger, who also serves as an executive producer on the series.
Schwarzeneggar voices Arnold Armstong, who is also known as Captain Fantastic — the greatest superhero to ever live. Five years ago, he battled his nemesis and was left powerless. At the same time, super-energy particles rained down on six toddlers and they gained powers. Now, Armstrong must teach the kids how to be heroes, but also how to be kids. They learn lessons about teamwork, health, protecting their town from rivals, keeping their secret identities, and more.
The series from Genius Brands includes 26 half-hour-long episodes that will air on a weekly basis. It all starts with a two-episode feature on April 23. It’s voice-directed by John Landis and features Steven Banks — the former head writer of SpongeBob SquarePants — as the head writer.
Kids can catch the super series by downloading the Kartoon Channel on Apple or Android devices or on a TV powered by Samsung, LG, Roku, Amazon Fire Stick, and more.
