Disney+ and Disney Junior are ramping up for Star Wars Day on May 4 with a new animated series. Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures follows four aspiring Jedis as they explore the world within the franchise’s High Republic era.
Throughout the upcoming children’s series, Kai Brightstar, Lys Slay, Nubs, Nash Durango and their trusty droid companion RJ-83 will learn the ways of the force from Master Yoda as they assist citizens in need and learn about the true responsibilities that come along with becoming a Jedi.
Disney+ has released three animated shorts to give fans a taste of what the show is all about before it airs on Star Wars Day. Meet the Young Jedi introduces the Jedi crew and follows their adventure to the planet Tenoo. In Lys’ Creature Caper, Lys wanders the planet’s Jedi Temple to uncover an unknown creature. Finally, Kai’s Daring Droid Rescue sees Nash and Kai working together to save RJ-83 from peril.
