School’s back in session — but that doesn’t mean kids have to give up on the high seas.
Registration for the second annual after-school version of the Story Pirates Creator Camp is opening this week. Kids can partake in these virtual sessions from Oct. 11 to Dec. 17. The camp is designed to keep kids’ creative juices flowing when school’s out or while they’re homeschooling.
Unlike school, kids don’t have to feel pressure to complete assignments. They develop projects and ideas with more of a focus on the creative process than the finished product. This year will include themes such as improv, podcasting, secret spy codes, comic art, sci-fi adventures, videography, and monsters.
Each Creator Camp session is live-streamed with coaching and encouragement from the Story Pirates. Kids can decide whether they want to participate for just one day, one week, or a whole month with different pass options.
