super-duper-art-studio_grown-up2Kids’ imaginations know no limits, which is why any ol’ art easel won’t do the trick. The only one easel up to par would have to be the Super Duper Art Studio, from Grow‘n Up Ltd. “Super duper” is a perfect way to sum it up, because with space for up to four different children, it maximizes the fun and lets creativity flow.

The easel does require some assembly, but it comes with all the tools needed to piece it together. There are a few items that snap and pop into place, with step-by-step picture instructions for parents to follow along with. While it’s mostly a simple setup, the chair takes a little bit of muscle work to pop the legs into place. Once that’s taken care of, everything else is quick and easy.

Once it’s all set, kids will have the art studio of their dreams. There are a couple of different ways that kids can use the workspace to maximize all the features and artistic areas. Firstly, the chalkboard sides opens up with a caddy corner desk surface. Kids can sit at the chair while they scribble chalk creations on the two side-by-side boards, or grab a piece of paper, slide the chair in, and use the desk to draw away. A great feature about the desk is that it includes an indented surface to place markers, pens, crayons, and other drawing tools, as well as three holders for paint cups and brushes. Additionally, the clips on the top of the chalkboard can be used to hang paper so that kids can also lean on that surface while they craft up new designs.

The other side of the easel contains the white board where kids can use dry erase markers to create vibrant illustrations. To open the board up completely, simply take the desk out from the chalkboard side and insert it to the slots on the bottom of the easel to keep the workspace stable. Both of the dry erase boards contain yellow holders to store all of kids drawing tools. There are also yellow clip-on holders on this side for kids to attach paper to and draw on directly.

The easel comes with three paint cups, three paint brushes, and an eraser, but kids will have to dig into their own coloring tools. This shouldn’t be too much of a problem since—let’s be real—every kid has that arts and crafts stash stored in a container in the basement filled with crayons, markers, and colored pencils galore.

The Super Duper Art Studio from Grow’n Up is what every little artist needs to get their creative juices flowing. The two-sided, side-by-side boards open up a world of fun and imagination during arts and crafts time.
