Steam locomotives meet board game in Switch & Signal, a brand-new launch from Thames & Kosmos!

The goal of this cooperative, family-friendly strategy game is to build a network of trains that run at different speeds to transport goods as efficiently as possible. Players begin the game in control of only a few trains on the tracks. At first, it’s easy to make them move freely, but as more trains arrive, players have to plan and coordinate train schedules to deliver goods on time.

Designed for kids ages 10 and up, the 2-4 player game features a double-sided game board with maps of Central Europe and North America on it, city tile variants, and customizable difficulty levels. The game’s rules are simple and easy to learn, allowing kids to jump right into the action.

Instead of reading the eight-page manual that comes with the game, players can also download the Kosmos Helper app on the App Store and Google Play Store to learn the game’s rules through animations and other helpful features. The game takes about 45 minutes to play.

Train enthusiasts can snatch this game up on store.thamesandkosmos.com, Amazon, or specialty retailers for $49.95.
