In case you haven’t heard, we’re in the midst of a global shipping crisis. It’s a very complex situation, but suffice to say it may be a little bit harder to find hot toys this holiday season — especially as the festive days get closer. While we always recommend shopping early to avoid disappointment, this year is different and Target is getting out in front of things — way out in front of things — with the early reveal of Bullseye’s Top Toys list for 2021. To put things in perspective, last year Target released its list on Oct. 8 and today is — checks calendar — Aug. 23.

This year, Target is offering more than 1,300 exclusive toys in its toy departments alongside an expanded partnership with The Walt Disney Co. to place Disney Store at Target locations in more than 160 stores. Additionally, Target and FAO Schwarz are continuing their collaboration with an assortment of 70 FAO-branded items, 85% of which are new this year.

Bullseye’s Top Toy List features 50 toys across six “inspiring” categories and is packed with 22 exclusives that consumers will only find at Target. Check out the full list below and be sure to stay tuned for the toy industry’s ULTIMATE top toy list, the Toy Insider‘s 2021 Holiday Gift Guide, coming Sept. 22. Look for it in print with the November issue of PARENTS magazine.
