We’re no longer limiting pumpkins to autumn only: It’s time to make them a year-round staple with Spookley the pumpkin.
Holiday Hill Enterprises launched Spookley the Square Pumpkin in 2004 as an animated film, followed by Spookley activity books, plush toys, Halloween decorations, and even a Christmas special over the years. Now the holiday of love is getting a spooky twist with The Spookley Valentine Show.
In the 13-minute, live-action puppet show, Spookley and his friends get ready to exchange Valentine’s Day cards, while Lyla the Love Bug worries that her tiny creations won’t measure up to everyone else’s. The short will debut on Disney Junior and DisneyNOW, along with Be Someone’s Rainbow, a 2-minute, animated music video featuring Spookley and Lyla singing about how we can all be the ray of sunlight to brighten someone’s day.
Be Someone’s Rainbow is available on Disney Junior now, and will launch on DisneyNOW and on the Disney Junior YouTube channel on Feb. 7. The Spookley Valentine Show is available on DisneyNOW and on the Spookley the Square Pumpkin YouTube channel.
Spookley will also make appearances at other upcoming holidays with The Spookley Easter Show and animated music video, What A Colorful Day, featuring JellyBean the tie-dye Easter chick; The Spookley Summer Show and animated music video, It’s Summertime, featuring Beacon the Bright Little Firefly; and The Spookley Halloween Show and animated music video, Halloween’s For Everyone!
