Lena, The Toy Insider Kid, is a huge Disney Princess fan, and has been dying to get her hands on the new Palace Pets, from Blip Toys. She has been playing the free Palace Pets app, available on the App Store, for weeks, and was thrilled to try out the toys. Palace Pets are the pets of the Disney Princesses. Here, Lena shows two of the Talking and Singing Palace Pets: Ariel’s kitty, Treasure, and Snow White’s Bunny, Berry. She loves that you can brush their tails and that they sing and talk when you press their necklace. She wants them ALL, so we recommend buying more than one. She sat and played with them for a long time, pretending they were talking to each other and going on adventures together.

The other Palace Pet she shows here is the play set for Aurora’s kitty, Beauty. The pets that come in the play sets are smaller than the Talking and Singing Pets. They come with accessories, a bed, and a special feature (Beauty’s is the ability to “paint” her nails with water). Lena is 4 years old, and was easily able to put on the Pet’s sleep mask, and take her tiara on and off. As most parents will agree, it’s important that their child is able to successfully play with a toy on their own!

Palace Pets Pamper Me Plush is also available, and this version of Aurora’s kitty has been circled by Lena in all the holiday retail catalogs and wish books (Santa, are you paying attention?!). These plush pets are more than just cuddly buddies. They include a comb or brush and barrettes for the pet’s hair and tail, a tiara and necklace, a fabric tutu, and additional accessories to make cuddle time play time. Cinderella’s Puppy, Pumpkin is also available as Pamper Me Plush.

If you have a daughter who is obsessed with Disney Princesses (as Lena is), you absolutely cannot go wrong with any of the Palace Pets, though I feel that the plush skews a tad younger than the Talking and Singing Pets and play sets.
