Ultimate Squishy Human Body | Source: Smartlab Toys

Since the 1950s, the “visible man” has been a staple of discovery for kids looking to understand the inner workings of the human anatomy. For decades, kids at home and in classrooms have built static, see-through model kits of the human body, but there hasn’t been much innovation … until now.

The Ultimate Squishy Human Body with SmartScan Technology by SmartLab Toys is a 21st century STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) upgrade sculpted using 3D medical data from a real human body. Kids can “dissect” and reassemble the highly detailed, 16-inch human anatomy model to discover 15 removable bones, muscles, and other body parts alongside 10 squishy organs. Oh yes, because kids love the squish!

What’s particularly unique about this set is the SmartScan Technology.

Kids can place one of eight “SmartParts” on the SmartScan module for an interactive learning experience across two modes. In Scan Mode, kids will learn about the body part and the system it works with. In Quiz Mode, kids place the SmartPart on the module to test their knowledge across 70 questions. Of course, learning should be fun, and kids will love hearing the SmartScan module as it pumps out burps, belches, and gurgles alongside other realistic sounds based on individual organs.

Budding medical professionals (or mad scientists!) will love exploring bones with realistic, moving joints; the respiratory and circulatory systems; kidneys, and more. And, to top it all off, the squishy brain can be removed from the skull for proper examination.

To help guide the experience and foster learning, a 48-page book featuring detailed information and fun facts is included alongside an Organ-izer chart so that kids will know where all of the squishy parts go.

Now, who’s ready for med school?
