Shimmer and sparkle with this beauty studio!| Source: Cra-Z-Art/The Toy Insider

If your kiddos want to beautify with their bestie or get glam like on Instagram, then take a look at Shimmer n’ Sparkle Light Up Beauty Studio from Cra-Z-Art!

Each beauty studio features actual makeup — there are several eye shadows, gorgeous blush colors, and plenty of lip glosses, nail polish, and applicators. There are beauty cards to get inspiration, too, so kids can decide to go glitter and glitz or bold and bright with the makeup look. For example, if your kid wants a tropical vibe, the tutorial shows which color to use on the eye, cheeks, and lips to achieve the look. Whichever look they choose, they can then use the included selfie ring light to snap a pic of the final result!

There are also story cards, so kids can fill in the blanks for a birthday party or sleepover fun. Encourage them to “make up” their story cards and see how silly or creative they can be. It is a great way to learn storytelling and use imagination and creative writing skills.

If you’re not a fan of your kids posting on social media, they can still snap pictures of their final look to put on a bulletin board at home or tuck in a personal beauty journal for fun. They can even use makeup to put on a fashion show or play for parents. Some kiddos may use the lip gloss in the clear acrylic tray to get ready for school or use the studio for fun during a birthday party or sleepover. Once the makeup is gone, kids can still use the light and tray for other beauty items or even crafts!

Parents may want to substitute other makeup for those children with sensitivities, but the rest of the studio — with the light and storage options — makes it an excellent pick for parties, playdates, and parent time!
