Toilet humor is overflowing, and poop is the new cool. While many strive to be No. 1, this latest trend is perfectly okay with being No. 2.

Poopeez, from Basic Fun, is a new web series and toy line that takes off with this trend like a fart in the wind. Beyond silly, Poopeez invites kids ages 4 and up to follow the adventures of six toilet-themed characters as they live their lives in Kerplopolis, a bustling city conveniently located where all sewage ends up after a good flush.

To enjoy the web series, kids can subscribe to Poopeez on YouTube, where new installments plop drop every Tuesday. All episodes—which I like to call poopisodes—run only a couple of minutes long, making them a short and sweet form of entertainment. They’re as ridiculous as you might expect, and chock full of toilet puns that are sure to hit kids’ funny bones.

In “Pooper Bowl”, for example, the Kerplopolis Cow Pies take on the Brown Bay Franken Poos in a game of football. Sponsors include Pinch a Loaf Bakery, Old Farts Retirement Home, and Bowel Movers. In “Frost Pee The Yellow Snowman”, the gang meets a yellow snowman that serenades them with the song “Tinkle Bells”.

In addition to the web series, kids can collect their favorite Poopeez characters in the form of Series 1 Capsules that look like rolls of toilet paper. Kids can “unroll” each one to discover their hidden Poopeez character, and then “unroll” it again to find a second character and a collector’s guide. It’s an appropriate way for kids to unveil their mystery characters, while setting itself apart from existing blind bags and surprise collectibles. Next up is the Poopeez Porta Potty Multi-Pack, which contains six Poopeez, including two set-exclusive characters that kids won’t find anywhere else. The pack also comes with a plastic Porta Potty case so kids can pack them up and take them on-the-go.For high-flying fun, the Poopeez Launcher Playset lets little ones load, flush, and launch their Poopeez high in the air. No toilet paper is required, and the set includes two set-exclusive characters.

Kids can collect common Poopeez figures like Pooji, Skid Mark, Dutch Oveness, and Toot Fairy, or strive to get their hands on rare figures such as Poopicorn, Turdle, and Mother Duece. If you’re telling me none of these names made you laugh, you sit on a porcelain throne of lies.

With Poopeez of their own, kids can further enjoy the YouTube series with them by their side, and use the episode’s antics to further their own imaginative play.
